We are so excited to be collaborating with Wow! Embossing Powders today in a fun-filled blog hop! Today’s hop is full of inspiration from both teams combining our two wonderful products together. We can’t wait for you to see all that we have in store for you!
I was super excited to work with the WOW embossing powders! I wanted to incorporate the Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors so I chose Lavender, Sapphire and Bubblegum ! I decided to use the WOW Opaque Bright White Super Fine embossing powder as a resist to the watercolor.
I stamped flowers from the Fleur 1 set on blank white cardstock with Versafine Ink. I embossed the ink with the Bright White powder using my heat tool. Once I had all my embossing done I went around and over each flower with shades of watercolor. The watercolor resists the embossing powder and gives you a unique handmade die cut to use! I let the watercolor dry and dabbed on extra watercolor pigment in the centers of the flowers. Once I had let the flowers dry completely I doodled around the edges with black pen and then fussy cut them all out!
To add some contrast I stamped more flowers in black and also added butterflies from the Bloom & Grow stamp set. While I was painting the flowers, I added sprinkles of color to my background cardstock. I added the florals to my page in a diagonal free form design. I tucked in a good vibes title from the Mix #2 and a pink sticker from the Mix #1.
