Hello Crate Paper friends! Lorilei here today with some inspiration for mixing the new Crate Paper Sticker Book with Crate Paper collections! I can tell you that once I got started, it was hard to stop mixing and matching! The CP Sticker Book is full of so many awesome stickers and possibilities!
Lately, I have been making embellishments of all sorts, and the first idea I had was to make some flag pole type embellishments. I decided on a “theme” for each stick and went from there. The first step for each stick was to select the stickers I wanted to use and add them to plain white cardstock, trim or fussy cut the stickers so that I could move them around or layer them.
I mixed the stickers with the Wild Heart and All Heart collections. For these flag poles, I used some long wood coffee stir sticks I found at my local dollar store.
I love the fun tropical feel of the vacay stick. I trimmed the vacay rectangle into a banner shape, layered it over a piece of crepe paper and added the mint typed sticker with some dimensional adhesive. The leaves are a mix of stickers from the sticker book and Wild Heart. The little explore tab is also from the sticker book!
I think the birthday stick is my favourite! I made a rosette with All Heart paper and added the gold butterfly from the sticker book, the Hey is a die-cut from All Heart, and the rest of the tabs are from the sticker book (added to white cardstock)
The flag poles can be used in so many ways! Add them to scrapbook layouts, cards or gift packages. They are perfect for sticking into a cupcake or cake for a special occasion!
These “sticks” or poles make gifts super cute, very easily!
Next up, I have a layout to share! While I was making the sticks above, I saw the whole page of sticker labels and thought they would be cute on a layout!
I added all the labels to white cardstock. I then ran them through my typewriter before I trimmed them.
I mixed Sunny Days, Willow Lane, All Heart and Good Vibes with the stickers this time. I already knew that Crate Paper collections mix and match beautifully, but even I was surprised at just how seamlessly I could add items from any of the collections!
One of my favourite pages from the Crate Paper Sticker Book is the page with the pretty script titles on clear stickers. I used one for the title of my page, tucked in between the label stacks!
I had so much crafty fun with these projects. Not only is the Sticker Book fabulous for planners, traveller’s notebooks or journal, but it is also perfect for crafting and scrapbooking!
Thank you so much for joining me here today! I hope you have some sticker fun!
