I am delighted to share a birthday banner with you today that I made using the Hooray collection by Crate Paper and the Jen Hadfield/Pebbles Banner Punch Board! First of all the Banner Punch Board is pink! It’s so pretty and lovely to have out in your craft room! It works beautifully and only took me a few minutes to figure it out and get going!
I had to punch the three different styles of banners to try them all out. I made my papers 4″ wide and different lengths. The triangle shaped banner takes a bit more length to make the point, so keep that in mind when trimming your papers.
I cut 4-5 banners and then started laying them out so that I could fill the banners in and have a nice variety of banner shapes along the string. The Hooray papers are so bright and cheery, most of them could be used for any occasion, and you could easily have a celebration theme vs. a birthday theme!
The banner shapes were super fun to decorate. I layered doilies, punched circle papers, Hooray chipboard, stickers and die cuts.
A close-up of the banner, on the banner with the blue gift I cut an extra banner shape smaller so that it would layer on top of the banner!
I can’t wait to try “all the things” with the Banner Punch Board. Next up I want to make teeny banners for a layout! Be sure to check out the Banner Punch Board; I think it is a great tool to have in your stash!
Thank you for joining me today! The possibilities are endless with this fun punch board!
