This is my first official year making a December Daily Album. I have made a bit of a fuss for December in my Project Life albums but never tried DD. In October I printed a whack of photos from December 2016 and put together an album to see if I could do it! I loved how it turned out and wanted to try it in real time this December! So far, so good! I have days 1-3 to share today! I have used the December Documented 2017 kit from Hip Kit Club and I also have December Daily digital items from Ali Edwards. I really love being able to print out some of the journal cards! My gorgeous red album is from Hip Kit Club!
Day 1 – Off we went to Ikea to get some bedding and other city goods that we can’t get in our little town near us. I love using the 2×2 pocket pages and almost always cut them down to 8 squares. I found out that I like to have the pages layered and peeking out behind one another in these albums! The sequins in the Hip Kit DD kit are so pretty!! Perfect for pockets! I used my Fuse tool to seal up the pocket!
So many little Pinkfresh Studio & Hip Kit goodies to fill 2×2 pockets!
Day 2 – We decorated our upstairs tree today, plenty of red ornaments! Lunch made it into the album because it looked very festive! I tried out my new iPhone tripod too. Kitty visiting made it into another trimmed down pocket page.
The back side of the cut down pockets and full page photo.
Day 3 – We decorated our new downstairs tree. Hannah and I made the official decision to keep it all golds, silvers, whites and neutral! It is the first time I have ever added ribbon and bows to a tree and I love it! I cut a pocket page down to two 3×4’s to accompany the big photo! The Avery tab is totally inspired by Ali Edwards album! Snowflakes are from Crate Paper, the #3 and tag are from Hip Kit DD kit.
Thanks for checking out my pages! I will have more days to share later this week!
