Hello! I am back with a layout using the October Kit from Elle’s Studio! These kits are jam-packed with inspiring goodies! The number block journal tag caught my eye, and I decided to trim the blocks and use them with five photos!
I started out by painting the background with black gesso. I knew the layout would be colorful and I wanted a spot to ground everything! Below the painted area I added my title with the Jane alphabet stickers, these stickers are awesome, and you get tons of letters on one sheet! I selected a few stamps from the Thankful stamp set and added them around my title!
All 5 of the photos I chose are things I love around home in autumn. The adorable wood veneer Home Sweet Home piece brings it all together for me!
Once I had my photos printed and paired up with the five numbers, I decided to color block the photo spots. I chose labels and puffy stars for each photo. I think the puffy stars are my favorite item!! The sweet little “the best” circle from the die cut sheets was the finishing touch I needed!
That black gesso just makes all the other colors come alive – what a fun page!
