My Pumpkin

Today is the last day of “Halloween Week”. I hope you have enjoyed the layouts!  I sure had fun making and sharing them!

For this layout I cut a bunch of of the Pumpkin Trio Design ID #222474 cut files.  I used a mix of Oh My Heart by Paige Taylor Evans & Pink Paislee and the Crate Paper After Dark Digital Collection.  I thought it would be fun to make a spooky clothesline with lots of banners and tags, socks are halloweenish right?  I added some glue spots  and sprinkled rose gold glitter for the top of the background and added some green/yellow paint as well!

Spooky details….

Witchy Web

Hello! Thanks for joining me on day 5 of my Halloween Week!!  I was excited about the possibilities with the Spider Web Background Design ID #216762 cut file!  I printed out some elements from Crate Paper After Dark digital collection, I also used some paper clips from Take Me Away and decided to use a column design to keep everything tidy 🙂   This year we dressed up as witches and went out trick or treating by driving around to the neighbors farms.  Hannah did stipulate that we had to be kind of pretty and nice witches!

Scary close up!!

Goblins

Today for the 4th day of Halloween Week I have a super cute layout!  I love the Haunting Night Design ID #221106 cut file! I knew right away the painted stripe paper from Take Me Away by Paige Taylor Evans & Pink Paislee would look great behind the words.  I then picked out more bits from Take Me Away and added buttons to the o’s and a’s!

I didn’t have the greatest photos from this Halloween so it was the perfect time to use small photos!  This was the first year Hannah chose to be something “scary”. Halloween has always spooked her, so princess was generally the costume of choice!

Close up!!

Boo Crew

My third layout is titled Boo Crew.  For the base of the design I used Squares Background Design ID #216774 I cut the design down to only have 3 columns.  Since I chose very bright and contrasting colors from Oh My Heart by Paige Taylor Evans & Pink Paislee the grid helps everything feel less chaotic!  I added one of the Haunted Houses Design ID #217953 for a cute focal point. It was a challenge to use a collection that wasn’t really meant for Halloween, once I got going it was interesting to find so many things that seemed perfect!

Every year for the last 4 years we go to our friends house for pizza and trick or treating.  They live out in a country subdivision and everyone knows everyone there so the kids can just run around and have a great time!  Love our Boo Crew!

Trick or Treat

I LOVE a big title!  The Trick or Treat Yoself Design ID #222489 cut file is so much fun!  I printed out some Crate Paper After Dark Digital elements and papers and backed the letters in the cut file and then decorated with the elements!  When I print out digital elements I will often try to pop them up and give them a little extra interest.  I used a Heidi Swapp paper for a dark bold background!

This year was Hannah’s first year trick or treating.  She really was unsure about the whole event!!

Papers from Take Me Away and Oh My Heart have great Halloween colors!

Hocus Pocus

Everyday this week I will be sharing a Halloween layout!  I got on a bit of a roll with Paige Taylor Evans + Silhouette Halloween cut files so I have 6 layouts to share!  I hope you enjoy “Halloween Week”.

My first layout uses the fabulous Hocus Pocus Design ID #220851 cut file by Paige Taylor Evans + Silhouette.  I used Turn the Page by Paige Taylor Evans & Pink Paislee to decorate the layout.  You really can use almost any collection for Halloween!  The bright fun colors add plenty of pop and style!  The washi tape book from Turn the Page has 12″ long pieces of washi which are excellent for borders!

Hannah caved into my photo begging this year and made a scary face just for me 🙂

I cut a second cut file with a 1/4 offset from plain white cardstock so the black letters would “pop” more!

These pumpkins are so cute!!
