PLS – Forever

Today I have my last layout to share using Pretty Little Studio products!  For this layout I was inspired by the With All My Heart Floral Boquet Die Cuts and the With All My Heart Forever Die Cuts.  I used two colors of Shimmerz sprays and a circle stencil to lightly mist the background.   I popped up all the embellishments in the long title so they would stand out.  I also added foam behind the photo. For a finishing touches I added little word strips from the With All My Heart Love Story Stickers and the super cute Dream Big Happy Day Clear Stickers.

The clear stickers are amazing!!  They add just the right finishing touch!

Love the floral heart!

PLS – Zebra

Hello!  I am sharing my third layout made with Pretty Little Studio products!  The Polka Alpha shines on this layout, I just love this alpha!  I added the wood veneer hearts and sprinkled some hearts and stars from the Coffee Time Die Cuts.  I adhered the alpha to black cardstock and then stitched through each word with black thread, I then cut the words out block style so they would really stand out!

So cute!!

PLS – Blossom

While I was browsing through the Pretty Little Studio shop I spotted the Crab Apple Die Cut and remembered the perfect photo to scrap using it!  I chose the Woodland Monarch Die Cuts and Woodland Garden Word Die Cuts to go with it!  For accents I used the Clear Skies sequins, With All My Heart stickers and Tales and Dreams Gold Labels.

I started the background with Shimmerz sprays for a painterly effect!  Once I decided the the placement of the crab apple die cut I just added the butterflies and labels floating up the page!  Love how it turned out!

The colors in the Woodlands collection are gorgeous!

pretty butterflies and sparkly sequins!

PLS – About Me

I was beyond excited to be asked to guest with Pretty Little Studio this month!  Pretty Little Studio is a family owned company with many talented designers creating unique collections!  I had such a lovely time making pages with PLS products.  Everything is wonderful quality and super easy to mix and match!  I will be sharing the pages I made over the next 4 days!

First up is an about me page.  When I started on my page I knew that the dream big tags would be my go to!  I used a couple of bags I had in my stash and made a pocket from one of the Dream Big 6×8 papers.  I typed a bunch of journaling on the Here Comes the Sun Labels and tucked the labels and tags into the pockets.  I used the Polka Alphas for each of our first initials and used the gorgeous Tales and Dreams Gold Labels layered on the top with the photos!  The because of you word strip comes from the You & Me Phrase Strips!  You can find all these gorgeous goodies at Pretty Little Studio.

LOVE this Polka Alpha!

My lovely Grandma, miss her!

My lovely daughter!

Hey Girl

Since it has been super cold here lately, I thought I would make a bright and cheery layout!  Paige’s new branch cut file makes the perfect little nest for a photo!  I used Turn the Page by Paige Taylor Evans & Pink Paislee and pulled out the pretty pinks and yellows with a dash of mint for a happy page!  I chose not to back each leaf opening of the branch, just a select few, to me it keeps it open and airy but still provides a bit of color!  I busted out my Paige Evans Sticker book and sprinkled some little flowers around the layout for a finishing touch!
I cut the magical arrow into a thin hanging tag and used the arrow head tucked into the hey girl card!
Love the washi tape strips in Turn the Page!

Katy Christmas

Oh what fun it was to play with the Crate Paper Pom Pom Frames & Ephemera!  I thought would throw scrappy caution to the wind and tell a Christmas story with the 2017 December Hip Kits!  I love the turquoise and yellow mixed with the little bits of red!  The pom poms add such a fun twist!

For Christmas we gave Hannah tickets to a Katy Perry concert.  It has been a long time wish of hers to go.  It was almost to late in happening as she has moved onto other artists.  She was a hardcore Katy fan for many years though, so I am sure she will be excited when it happens!

Cacti and Christmas were made for each other!

Happy Snow

My assignment for Mixed Media Monday at Hip Kit was to use Irit’s gorgeous papers in the December 2017 Hip Kit as inspiration!  I used the Shimmerz Snow Way Man Vibez spray from the December 2017 Color Kit with the Shimmerz Puttin’ on the Glitz Pasteez to make my background.  It was my first time using Pasteez and I love the texture and glitz it adds!  To embellish I used many items from the American Crafts Sweater Weather stickers and added Pinkfresh Studio frames and chipboard to the mix that came in the November 2017 Hip Kits.

Merry Christmas

I bought a fancy big Heidi Swapp word for my Christmas Tree this year and wanted to make a pretty layout using a photo of it!  I cut the Christmas Tree background from white card stock and mounted it on another sheet of white card stock.  I cut the rolled flowers from white card stock and then assembled them and painted them with gold paint.  I added some black paint and gold spatters and then embellished with red sequins and enamel dots.  I made my title Merry using the print and cut feature in Silhouette!
Paige Taylor Evans Cut Files I used:
Pretty gold painted roses!
Using the snowflakes from Ho Ho Ho really add to the wintery feel and add som much texture!

Unicorn – (Design ID #233755) by Paige Taylor Evans + Silhouette

I just had to cut this Unicorn when I saw her!  My cousin’s daughter adores unicorns and has them all over her room!  I busted out my Pink Paislee Summer Lights 6×6 paper pad to back the unicorn with the gorgeous purples, pinks and teals!  I knew I for sure would need lots of glitter and I used gold glitter paper for her horn and punched out stars.  The frame from Take Me Away co-ordinated perfectly so I cut out the centre and printed a quote to slide under the frame. I also added a puffy heart paper clip from Take Me Away!  When I was peeling the cut file from my silhouette sheet I mistakenly threw away Miss Unicorns eye so I also printed and fussy cut an eye to finish her off!!
No such thing as too glittery!!
Love those frames from Take Me Away!

What do you do when a cut file has so many adorable little bits left over?  Paint them!!  After I cut the Half Christmas Tree (Design ID #230008) cut file I ended up with all the adorable cutouts and I couldn’t throw them away!  I got out my water-colour set and painted each little icon and after they were dry I added some details with a sharpie fine tip marker.  I used the cut out tree as a mask shape and painted the paper with green water-colour paint and also added splatters over the rest of the page.  I then glued the icons back into their cut spot, again using the cut out tree for placement.  Turn the Page by Paige Evans & Pink Paislee is SO perfect for Christmas pages so I added a chipboard star, bird tag and cut out the banner from the cut apart paper.  So fun and festive!!

I added buttons, sequins and puffy stickers to decorate the tree!

Love the yellow chipboard star from Turn the Page by Paige Taylor Evans & Pink Paislee!
