Big Autumn Tag – Vicki Boutin

Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends!! I have so much to be thankful for! The scrapbooking community is one of them!! I made a pretty autumn tag using @vickiboutin free cut file and art crayons!

I thought it would be nice to have some autumn color on my gallery wall.  I love my birdcage and change it out quite often.  I started out the project by painting a piece of white cardstock with Vicki Boutin Art Crayons.  I used the Warm and Neutral set to create 4 different areas of color on the paper.

I cut the full leaves from the painted paper and then cut the co-ordinating leaf outlines and title from white cardstock.  I actually cut two of the title and glued them together to make it thicker.

I used kraft paper and cut a 5.5″x11″ tag and added a piece of white cardstock behind it.  I picked out some twine and ribbon from my ribbon basket and threaded it through the tag.  I colored the ends of the white ribbon with art crayon mixed with water and also added some beads to the twine!  I love how it turned out!

It’s Vicki’s first cut file and it’s a beauty! You can find it in her FB group – Vicki Boutin mixed media community.
